A Bit About the Process

Mainely Modern is a full-service event planning, design and coordination company that specializes in making each event special, unique, and fun. We can assist you with as much or as little with planning and coordinating your event. We offer standard event packages, hourly rates, or customized planning services. With our Complete, Partial, or customized options, Mainely Modern will execute your event with the assurance that your vision comes to life.

Picture Perfect Picnic

Day-of-Coordination 

You’ve already started the planning process and booked your venue/location. You have your vendors and catering/food plans but may need some help with design and set up. Our partial planning package is the perfect package!  

This package includes a consultation, design brief, full design execution and clean up, access to our list of inventories/decorations, and a timeline of events. Mainely Modern will work with who you’ve already hired or desired caterers and take care of all the additional planning.  

Pease Note: if we don’t have the décor you’re looking for in our inventory, we will order your ideal decorations.

*Design Assistants are required for events over 50 people at an additional $25/hour.

Starting at $3,000

So, you want to plan an event, have a date in mind but don’t know where to start? Let Mainely Modern help you with all the coordination, planning, design, venue, and catering booking!  

This package includes a consultation, design brief, timeline of planning, venue/location booking, rentals, catering/food plans, decorations, complete design set up and clean up with day of coordination. 

Please note payment of location/venue, deposits for venue and catering will need to be paid by venue/catering requirements and Mainely Modern will require those payment amounts at contract signing. 

*Design Assistants are required for events over 50 people  at an additional $25/hour.

Starting at $5,500

3 Hour Basic Package $500

This package includes it all; from themed décor, a party table with backdrop and table décor, table and chairs, photo backdrop with props, 1 party host, 1 craft and 2 games, party favors, complete set up and clean up.  

Please note this package price is for up to 12 guests including the birthday child. Add $10 for each extra guest. 

Add Ons: 

Themed birthday cake: starting at $45 

Themed party snacks (4 items): $95 

Party snacks price is based on 12 servings. Add $5 per each extra serving.

These events are priced on a case-by-case basis since no two gatherings are the same.

Social event pricing starts at $500

This option is for those of you who would like to customize the services you would like Mainely Modern to assist you with on your special day. 

  • Coordinating with the client and other contacts on all aspects of the event 

  • Venue selection 

  • Selecting a unique theme or style 

  • Overall décor including florals and lighting, floor plan and layout 

  • Caterer; Food, beverage, cake, and dessert selection 

  • DJ, band, or other entertainment (if applicable) 

  • Photographer; Videographer (if applicable) 

  • Guest list management; Seating chart assistance 

  • Invitations, place cards, menus, table numbers, event programs, party favors, information sheets 

  • Addressing and mailing invitations and event thank you’s 

  • Choosing attire and assistance with fittings (if applicable) 

  • Coordinating all spa, hair, makeup appointments (if applicable) 

  • Guest activity research and coordination 

  • Creating and managing event timeline 

  • Contract negotiation with all vendors 

  • Confirmation with all vendors two weeks and one week before the event 

  • On-site event day coordination with your planner and an additional assistant, if desired  

  • Budget management and coordination of final payments to vendors 

  • Design Assistant also available at an additional $25/hour.

Packages start at $225 and include full set-up, break-down, and coordination of any add-ons!

So, you’ve done all the hard and necessary work planning your event, hired your caterer's, booked your venue, and have your design plan set. Now you might be wondering how you can set everything up and enjoy your special day, well this package will work best for you! A Mainely Modern Event Planner will meet with you one month prior to your event to get all the planning organized which will allow you to simply show up to your event and enjoy it. Mainely Modern will take care of the full design set up and all the behind-the-scenes work.  

*This package is included in the Partial and Full Planning Packages
